Let’s do it together

Life can be hard

Light before darkness

And things you found on the surface
Go under

Friendships to go

Lovers grow older

& People making excuses
of what’s gone mad

U’ll find another way
U don’t have to be alone

Let’s do it together

Rivers run dry
Tears that wont cry

& Pleasures u can count on
Turn to dust

Governments lie
Politicians tire me

and nothing on my t.v. is getting any better

This time will not be the same

I’ll be with you, Let’s do it together.

    My Vodka Smurf…

Through everything, highs and lows, ups and down, through all the good times (I know, it reeks of a cheezy love song), I would be honoured to “do it together”… with you. I have something brewing in my mind, it’s been festering for some time now, but the essense of it is starting to come together.

I too am a writer at heart, and there’s only one reason I’ve not yet written you a poem or story. It has, and by has I mean tehre is absolutely no alternative, be completely perfect. I’ve been thinking about it for a long time, and have even tried to write it, on at least 5 occasions. It just isn’t enough. But it’s time for you to hold your breath, because it’s coming soon. Very soon. My head’s in the right place, and my heart is in the perfect place.

I love you baby girl. The next post on your blog (by me) will be the first post on my blog.

    Your always,
    forever,

    DJ Smurf

    The Wait

    For so long…
    He wanders where it is.
    For so long…
    He hears it is there.
    For so long…
He yearns to feel its touch.
    For so long…
    Yet still he waits.

    It’s perfect,
    So he is told.
    It’s flawless,
So he is led to believe.
    It’s everywhere,
    So it is felt.
    It’s her.
    Yet still he waits.

    He sees her,
    Dancing free.
    He hears her,
    Singing her own words.
    He is trapped,
    In her existence.
    He is passion.
    Yet still he waits.

    She is the music.
    He cannot retreat.
    She is the air.
    He cannot retreat.
    She is not his.
    He cannot retreat.
    She is not full.
    Yet still he waits.

    The lioness is not quiet.
    She stalks her prey.
    The lioness is not quiet.
    She needs more each day.
    The lioness is not quiet.
    Her pride is not enough.
    The lioness is not quiet.
    Yet still he waits.

    In all things earthly,
    They are the same.
    Through each and every day,
    They are the same.
    Together they fight their demons,
    They are the same.
    Their souls have become one.
    Yet still he waits.

    Her heart is his,
As his soul rests in her palm.
    Her heart is his,
There is no question of why.
    Her heart is his,
    Thought they are both bound.
    Her heart is his,
    Yet still he waits.

The waiting has almost reached its end.
He knows she will soon be his.
This day is where he risks everything,
And that is what he would lose.
To have her in his arms each day,
His meager life he would give away.
The waiting ahs almost reached its end,
And together they will face a new day.
